Once a year we celebrate
With stupid hats and plastic plates
The fact that you were able to make
Another trip around the sun
And everybody gathers round
With gift and laughter (sometimes without)
As we let out a joyfu sound and sing that stupid song
Now you're one year older
Your life still isn't over
You did not accomplish much
But you didn't die this year, so I guess that's good enough
You wish you had more money
Your life's so sad, it's funny
How much more can you take?
But your friends are hungry so just cut that stupid cake

It's that time of the year again. Where we all have big fake smiles and pretend to like the lead actor. It makes no sense and yet we still place so much emphasis on it.
Funny though... I hate the event but if everyone forgot it existed, I'd till be pissed off...
