Bulls Openers

So we lost home opener, we're 0-2. That I can deal. Back in 04/05, we were 1-9 before making the play-offs for the first time without MJ.

What I can't stand is how we seemed not to learn anything from that fiasco that was New Jersey. First, we got hammered on the boards. Next, our shooting was abysmal. Third, someone explain to me why Duhon was on the floor before Thabo? Even then, still better than BG at point, but still that happened.

The final thing that really pisses me off is that Noc is still playing big minutes at PF. Look at any pre-season prediction people will say that our depth at PF and C is a huge advantage. Even with Noah out injured, we still have Tyrus Thomas, Ben Wallace, Joe Smith, even Aaron Gray. Why put in Noc for such a stretch when he gets hammered on the boards?

Skiles loves that intensity on the court, but when you need to aggressively pull down those boards, you don't put in an aggressive player. You put in better rebounders. Noc can hit a few shots, but we need to get a lot better defensively to win.

A few positives. Gordon's shooting's getting better. As long as he's not playing point, I think he'll get better.

Career game for Tyrus Thomas. He'll be that 20-10 player yet.

Next up Bucks.
